ADVANCED CAVE DIVING COURSES

The specialty courses in cave diving are accessible to the caving diver with at least Full Cave level and 25 cave dives after their course. The different caves or your ambitions will make you reach your Full Cave diver limit, to discover beyond that you will need to acquire new skills, knowledge and equipment.
David MAYOR, thanks to his long experience, will transmit all the knowledge, skills and experience in the various cave diving specialties of the TDi agency.
SIDE MOUNT CAVE DIVER TDI
The Side mount configuration allows the diver to advance in the narrowest passages. The Cave Side mount Diver TDI course provides the diver with the training and knowledge needed to perform safe and secure speleology diving with Side mount configuration. This course is a prerequisites for Advanced Cave Sidemount Diver..

Prerequisites:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Minimum certification : Technical Sidemount and Full Cave Diver.
- At least 25 logged dives in Sidemount Configuration.
- Required equipment : Cave Sidemount Configuration.
Course length : 4 days minimum.

ADVANCED SIDEMOUNT CAVE DIVER TDI
This course is the most advanced level for cave divers. It provides the knowledge and competence needed to dive in constricted galleries where it is sometimes necessary to remove tanks in order to proceed.

Prerequisites:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Minimum certification : Full Cave Diver and Sidemount Cave Diver.
- At least 25 logged cave dives in Sidemount Configuration.
- Required equipment : Cave Sidemount Configuration.
Course length : 4 days minimum.

STAGE CAVE DIVER TDI
The TDI Stage Cave Diver Course is designed to teach trained cave divers how to extend bottom times and/or penetration distance through the use of stage cylinders. Divers will learn to plan dives that may incorporate longer bottom times, complex dive planning, and multiple methods of gas management. With respect to depth, gas mixes, and required decompression, course dives will not exceed the student’s current level of certification and experience level.

- Minimum certification : Full Cave Diver.
- At least 25 logged cave dives.
- Required equipment : Cave Diving Configuration Gear.

DPV CAVE DIVER TDI (Scooter)
This course is designed to teach trained cave divers how to utilize Diver Propulsion Vehicles (DPVs) in the cave environment. Divers will learn about safe DPV use, DPV components, and care and maintenance. Students will learn to plan dives that may incorporate extended penetration, longer bottom times, complex dive planning, and proper methods of gas management.

- At least 18 years of age.
- Minimum certification : Full Cave Diver, it is recommended to have the level Stage Cave Diver too.
- At least 25 logged cave dives.
- Required equipment : Cave Diving Configuration Gear.

SURVEY CAVE DIVER TDI

The TDI Cave Survey Diver Course is designed to give the trained cave diver the minimum knowledge and basic fundamental skills of how to survey in the unique underwater cave environment. The intention of this program is to encourage a standardization of cave surveying on all projects; encourage the use of cave maps in dive planning while increasing the diver’s awareness and knowledge of the surrounding environment. Safe techniques, procedures and skill perfection associated with surveying in cave diving is emphasized.

- Minimum certification : Full Cave Diver.
- At least 25 logged cave dives.
- Required equipment : Cave Diving Configuration Gear.

UNDERWATER CAVE CARTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
This workshop is designed to give the trained cave diver the minimum knowledge and basic fundamental skills of how to cartography under wate cave environment.

- At least 18 years of age.
- Minimum certification : Full Cave Diver and Survey Cave Diver.
- At least 25 logged cave dives.
- Required equipment : Cave Diving Configuration Gear.
